2017 Desert AIDS Walk

Partners For Life

Saturday, October 21, 2017

The Partners for Life giving program was founded by early volunteers and board members of Desert AIDS Project who knew that a steady revenue stream would be necessary as long as the AIDS epidemic affected people right here in our community.

New members continue to join long-time supporters because they are committed to our vision of healthy individuals, families and communities, despite the existence of HIV.  Each and every one of our members gives generously and also help raise additional funds in many ways, including participating in the Desert AIDS Walk.

Please join us....

Saturday, October 21, 2017 for the 31st year and 32nd Desert AIDS Walk!

Desert AIDS Walk has made it possible for us to continue serving the clients of D.A.P. with an unparalleled range of services:

  • medical and dental care
  • medications
  • housing
  • transportation assistance
  • mental health counseling
  • a Community Center with a variety of educational and social activities, including skills-for-living and back-to-work training

As an organization, D.A.P. has committed to the bold goals set forth by UNAIDS to help end the HIV epidemic by 2020: 90% of peole living with HIV will know their status, 90% of all people diagnosed with HIV will be linked to care and receive sustained antiretroviral therapy and 90% of all these people will achieve viral suppression making them uninfectious.  The spread of HIV ends.

With each step we take and each dollar we raise, we can test more people, bring more people who are HIV positive into care, and move one step closer to an "AIDS free generation".

Join our fundraising efforts today by clicking the donate now button and help us reach our goal!

Thank you.
